About me

I’m Llewellyn "Lew" Olivier, the Director of Outreach for the Minnesota State Transportation Center of Excellence. In my role, I work closely with schools, educators, and industry experts to advance education in key areas of the transportation industry. Our center supports six core sectors: automotive, diesel and truck technology, aviation, marine and powersports, collision repair, and heavy equipment. I focus on developing and delivering programs that introduce students to electric vehicles (EVs), advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS), and other emerging technologies. Through workshops, resources, and hands-on experiences, I aim to help students explore exciting career pathways in transportation.
